                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 711 AND
                   717 EAST 11TH STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST
                   LINE OF EAST 11TH STREET AT BALDWIN STREET FROM
                   M-1 MANUFACTURING ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 711 and 717 East 11th
                Street, being on the northeast line of East 11th
                Street at Baldwin Street.  Two unplatted tracts,
                being the properties described as Tract 2 in deed
                book 3644, page 169, ROHC, and as Tracts 1 and 2 in
                deed book 3595, page 227, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
                145E-S-14 and 15.
               
               
         from M-1 Manufacturing Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
